The Halifax Estate Planning Council was founded in 1986 to provide a forum for Nova Scotia professionals to meet regularly to learn about various estate planning topics and to network and share ideas.
The membership of the Halifax Estate Planning Council consists of members from the professions of law, accountancy, insurance, trust and financial planning who are involved in various aspects of estate planning and who advise the public on such matters. We also have members who practice estate planning from other fields such as charitable gift planning. Many of our members are leaders in their respective professional fields.
